Au Panier Vert encourages customers to settle their orders by credit card/postcard as this payment method will allow a fast execution. Au Panier Vert uses the secure payment system of Smallpay-Datatrans. You have also the possibility to carry out your payments by money transfer (see below information), however this payment method will delay the execution of your order as only the orders paid in advance are deliverable. Refunding, replacement or cancellation of order
Orders that have been confirmed and validated for payment cannot be cancelled and will be executed as described below. The applications for refunding or replacement are only accepted for delivered goods that have been broken or damaged during the transport. However, the complaints must be carried out with proof sent by e-mail ( to Au Panier Vert, Customer Service within 48 hours following the reception of the parcel. Any complaint carried out after the deadline of 48 hours is subject to refusal.

Value added tax (VAT)
The prices of the teas and other food-related products include 2.5% of VAT (value added tax) and 8% on the non-food products, accessories, etc…
Order execution and delivery terms
General information
Validated orders will be immediately transmitted to the processing center of Au Panier Vert which is based in Mont-sur-Lausanne (CH). Generally, the order is shipped within 48 hours upon receipt of the payment/order confirmation. Exceptions: No order is treated Sunday and bank holidays. For Switzerland, special orders and promotions for ex. the Mother's Day, St.Valentine, etc… are in general carried out and sent at latest 48 hours before the event. For deliveries in Europe outside Switzerland, please count at least 6-8 additional open days.Orders transmitted to our premises after the 48 hours deadline will not have any guarantee of delivery within the deadlines. It is to be noted that no distribution is carried out by the company DPD (Chronopost in France) or by the post office on Saturdays and bank holidays. Orders carried out on New Year's Day and during the following week are treated by a reduced number of staff members and the deadlines are extended during this period. In Switzerland, the delivery is guaranteed for all locations. However abroad, all the destinations cannot be served and if your destination would be concerned by this problem, Au Panier Vert customer service will contact you as soon as possible by email or telephone.

Au Panier Vert cannot be held responsible for possible delays or non-deliveries because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. Data protection
The integrity of our customers’ private sphere is an absolute priority for who do not collect any personal information from a visitor to its site unless that visitor explicitly and intentionally provides it for the registration of an account. E-mail addresses and confidential data will be treated in a confidential matter and will not be shared with any third party. In the shop the order will be collected through an order form and the information provided by the customer will be used for the confirmation of the order, the delivery of the order and when necessary for an invoice and for contacting the customer in case of problem or questions. The personal data is under no circumstances used for commercial purpose. The data "Frequent User" cannot be examined or modified by In case a visitor forgets all his personal data to enable the login, he would be asked to make a new registration (open a new account). The passwords are verified by the system against user names and e-mail addresses and will not be accepted unless the system recognizes the correct identity. Registered "Frequent User" has the possibility to cancel its account. In this case, all related personal data will be erased. When finalizing an order, the confidential data related to the payment procedure is immediately transmitted for final validation with an encrypted code through a secure system to the bank partners and stored on their highly secure servers.

SSL encoding
During the payment procedure on the customer is asked to provide confidential data such as address, card number, etc…) on the order form. The transmission of this confidential data from the customer’s browser to the server of is carried out with the support of a 128-bit coding (SSL - Secure Socket Layer). For this secured transmission, uses one of the most reputed systems: (SSL).   When using SSL for the transfer of the data, the browser checks if it is really connected to the server mentioned in the URL. In order to benefit from an optimal security, it is recommended to use a for Netscape or Internet Explorer a version of the browser from 4.0 or for Opéra a version from 3.5. Older versions of browsers will not ensure correctly the certificates used for the transmission.  

Cookies are often subject to discussions. They are generally introduced in order to allow a perfect execution of an order, identification of a user during the order process or to facilitate the reload of a site.  In the shop , cookies are not used for collecting personal data. This confidential data communicated on by the visitor, are stored locally through a session. This session will transfer a cookie on your computer which contains a temporary identification number. The cookie and the data on the server will be automatically erased when:

- the order is finalized
- when you leave the site  
- when the session is interrupted, i.e. when a form does not receive new information for a period of 30 minutes.
